The Mission

The communications solution needed to provide a range of mechanisms to meet the individual requirements between staff within the hospital. With the ban of mobile phones from the Causeway hospital it was invaluable to offer communication solutions to all staff, some that do not have fixed bases like portering staff to medical staff who rely on being alerted immediately anywhere and of course the protection for hospital staff.

The Solution

Access 3000 Paging System

The latest Access 3000 paging system provided the backbone of the communications platform installed.

Multitone Server Based Solution

The Access 3000 system is linked via a Multitone server based solution to the hospital Nurse Call System. Also via a computer interface card all the fire alarm messages to fire teams via a rapid paging message.

StaffGuard System

A flexible solution that provides detailed cover in designated high-risk areas where staff are working alone or with hostile patients, Also linked into the Access 3000 paging system so that an Alarm call can be sent to a response team
