Multitone Electronics was founded in 1931 by Alexander Poliakoff, with £500 of capital he had borrowed from his solicitor and 75 years later his company continues to go from strength to strength.

It all began with a superior type of transformer for use in radio receivers and in due course Multitone expanded into making hearing aids. Some of the earliest clientele were Winston Churchill and Princess Mary, the Princess Royal. During the Second World War Multitone also made radio sets for secret agents, early radar and bomb detector equipment for the RAF. At an early stage Multitone also pioneered the development of hospital communications systems with the worlds first pager and bleeper system for St Thomas’s hospital in London.
Today Multitone still pioneers new technologies and solutions for hospitals in the UK and worldwide. From those early beginnings Multitone have continued to work with the NHS to deliver integrated solutions that are truly fit for purpose. All hospital Trusts are unique in the way they work and Multitone provide systems that fit in and assist with those work patterns. Yet, still providing the quality and performance that this demanding environment requires.

The key features of this top fired pager are its easy to read, bright crystal clear display, coupled with its loud and clear voice messaging that is stored in the pager and can be replayed. The RPR750 is fitted inside a new tough, dustproof, water resistant and slip proof case. |
| A3NS – A3MS |
New enhancements to the feature rich Access 3000 radio paging system include the A3MS networked messaging platform This allows operators to send messages to multiple mobile devices and manage communications to cordless handsets, pagers, email, PMR handsets and SMS messages. This means a call to a pager can also be sent as an email or SMS.

Centralised Alarms (Centinel) |
Centinel allows businesses to consolidate their switchboard sites and answer all alarms and calls on one central site. All alarms are monitored and reported using the latest technology delivering a system that is simple to maintain and reduces the pressure from switchboard operators.

| Portering and Task Management |

The Access IP range is fully scalable and feature rich, ideal for small to medium sized businesses.

Woodcote chose Multitone's Access IP as their main telephone system, which provides
flexibility, allowing team members to roam freely around the nursery whilst still being able to
keep in contact with the potting sheds, shop, goods-in, maintenance teams and management.
