The Multitone Repair Centre is the main division for the assessment and repair of any Multitone manufactured units. A team of specialists are on hand to provide a first class service to customers and quality repairs to units. Close links with the Manufacturing, Quality Assurance and Production departments ensure the repair centre is at the forefront of any changes or improvements that can be made, adding increased benefits to you.

The Repair Centre, based within the Multitone manufacturing operation ensures closer and improved communications, providing increased benefits such as instant feedback on pager quality and performance and the forwarding of any quality issues to the Quality Assurance department. This in turn allows the repair centre to provide an improved repair service by being at the forefront of any future developments.

After repair each unit is independently tested and approved by both a Multitone repair specialist and also an independent inspector to ensure the product works to the manufacturing specification.

Efficient repair turn-round times

Any Multitone product will be repaired unless it is
damaged beyond economical repair. When a unit is
received and logged in, the repair centre aim to complete repair work within agreed timescales. When the product is repaired, it is posted first class back to the customer.

The repair centre also welcomes enquiries for repairs on non-Multitone products, a simple call to the centre will determine if they are able to help.

Efficient customer repair tracking

There is a separate administration team of customer liaison officers who can deal with all customer enquiries,as well as advise on the progression of repairs.

Multitone have invested in a new computer system, which allows full traceability on customer products.

Management of repair information

A database system ensures efficient tracking of faults through report and analysis. By allocating and entering a fault code into the system for each repaired product, reports can be generated showing all faults by customer, date and fault type.

We can also run reports on full measurement performance controls for both customers and internally. This allows us to benefit from instant access of information especially on turn-round times, quantity of pagers returned in a given period, length of time to repair, etc. All this information is analysed and used to improve the centre facilities and to help in the next generation of product design and development.
